The Band Toto Asia

Toto was expanding its production facilities in the overseas market and operating in France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the People's Republic of China. The company believed that North America as a growth market for Washlet's bidets and toilets, as opposed to its "base" markets of Japan and China.
Dhaniram Toto was documenting Toto words to ensure the future generations could read them. Many words were replaced by foreign words. For example dui, which was Bengali for verandah, was being used.
Origins
The early history of Toto that began in 1917, mirrored Japan's rapid economic expansion. In the first half, Toto manufactured goods to meet the demand for modern, brand new urban housing. To achieve this, it used the first tunnel kiln in the nation that produced ceramics in continuous flow. It also pioneered the use of automation to control production, allowing for greater efficiency and consistency.
In the latter half of the 1980s, the company began expanding overseas in order to profit from sales and new markets. It launched the Cera Trading Company, importing and distributing other products of manufacturers to complement its own range of plumbing fittings and sanitary earthenware. This strategy increased sales and expanded the company's market share in the world.
In the 1990s, Toto had shifted its emphasis on research and development for water-related household appliances. It also improved its system of distribution to better serve its customers and boost profits. The company used the same approach of just-in-time in its supply chain management and sales program. This led to a higher level of satisfaction with the customer.
Toto has been able to continue to innovate with regard to toilet technology. Its most recent toilet, for instance is equipped with a powerful tornado flush that is more ecologically green than traditional toilets. The company also uses recycled water in its manufacturing process and has a green procurement policy. In addition to toilets Toto manufactures bathtubs and faucets, as well as hand dryers that are more energy efficient than standard models.
The first Toto museum opened in the year 2015. It features exhibits on the most iconic products of Toto, their evolution, the group companies (all of which are made of ceramics) and the history of plumbing, and other products like bath units. In another gallery, visitors can see Toto products that are sold throughout. The museum also has a bathroom with a WASHLET and other toilet innovations.
Before the formation of Toto the band, members of the group performed sessions for many musicians. 토지노 커뮤니티 , drummer Jeff Porcaro, and guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather all performed on the album Silk Degrees by Boz Scaggs. They also performed on albums by Steely Don, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
Discography
You would expect a group with a name like Asia to be a prog rock group, but it is actually a relatively straightforward rock group. The group was formed as four-piece, and released two albums: 1979's self-titled debut and 1980's Armed to the Teeth. However, even though the group have a wide range of musical backgrounds, their biggest success was achieved in 1982 with Toto IV.
The album was a huge blockbuster, but it was not without its issues. Record companies put the band on the position with the order "give us an album that is a success or we'll sack you" and the pressure was on to meet the deadline. Toto was able to achieve this with the help from the hit song "Africa."
Toto's musical mastery is due to their prior experience, as the band members had been session musicians for artists like Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, and Seals and Crofts before starting the group. Their distinctive sound has become the norm for '80s pop, influencing many contemporary artists.
The album starts out hard with songs such as Running Out of Time or Unknown Soldier that show the band's ability to write fantastic AOR songs that slowly sink into your head. The album also features more jazzy, slower tracks such as The Little Things and Chinatown. The album concludes with Great Expectations. This song blends folk and the distorted AOR, which should seem like a complete blunder, but works extremely well.
After Toto IV, the band's fortunes changed to the downside. David Hungate left the band to focus on his solo career, and the band was dominated by drummers. In 1984, Bobby Kimball was fired from the band in the aftermath of drug-related charges. However, the group continued to perform as a trio featuring Michael Porcaro and Steve Lukather.
Despite the turmoil, Toto forged ahead and released Isolation however, which was not as successful as IV. However, the band managed to release another chart-topping album in 1992 with Kingdom of Desire. The album marked the end of the original Toto lineup and was also the first to feature a new singer, Simon Phillips.

Line-up
The album's third, Turn Back, marked a return to the classic sextet format of previous albums and was a more powerful, constant effort with a harder edge than Hydra. Its edgier sound was indicative of the maturation of group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency on the drums, as well as a more mature, confident vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard playing was also more sophisticated, sharper and less akin to previous recordings.
After touring to promote their album, the band recorded an Amsterdam live show that was released by Eagle Records as a 2-CD set titled Falling In Between. The group released a new studio album a few months after and then embarked on a tour around the world to help promote the album. In this time, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes filled in for Paich, and bassist David Hungate left the group to spend more time with his family.
In 1998, Paich and Lukather started looking through old tapes and demos for a new album featuring songs that were never recorded before. The album was released in 2001 as a duo album called Then and Now. It was the first album by the band that did not include one single track with the word "A" in the title, and it also contained one previously unreleased track, "Kari-Anne".
By 2003, Toto had begun to decline in popularity. The group's fourth album, Old Is New, was a commercial failure, and singer Williams was suffering from a serious laryngitis infection that limited his singing abilities. Hungate also returned to Nashville and Leland Sklar's drumming was replaced by Shem Von Schroeck.
Downes and the other original members of Asia--Wetton, Palmer, and Howe--convened an event in England in the early part of 2006 to discuss the possibility of formally reforming the band. This lineup, minus Howe (who was a member of Yes at the time) was eventually referred to as Toto XIV and toured extensively.
In 2010, the band reunited for another reunion tour with a slightly different line-up, including guitarists Mike Porcaro and Steve Lukather, drummer John Pierce, bassist Shannon Forrest, and multi-instrumentalists Warren Ham and Dominique Taplin. The band also featured the appearance of singer Michael McDonald, and a backing singer named Mabvuto Carpenter.
